The title of this work, which stands for Digital Still Camera, makes reference to the prefix and numbering automatically assigned to name the images recorded by a Nikon digital camera used in the series. The intention was to highlight an impersonal character of these images. They are, in fact, pictures of a computer screen in which it is possible to see the mesh of pixels that form it.
